Limassol is Cyprus's second largest city; it is located on the south coast of the island and is currently the largest resort in Cyprus. There is a lively nightlife in the area, which makes Limassol a popular area for tourists, and this is largely what it driving the price of properties to buy as well as rentals.

Property prices in Limassol have been rising by 20% each year in recent years and there is little sign of the market slowing.

Paphos is an ancient town located on the west coast of Cyprus. The town is reputedly the birthplace of Aphrodite and it has been designated as a World Heritage site. As is the case with much of the property market in Cyprus, there is a great demand for property in Paphos with a sea view and this can be reflected by the price rises of 15% on an annual basis.

The town has a large British expatriate population of senior citizens, therefore, if you are seeking an active way of life, the town may not have the right atmosphere for you.

Protaras is probably the most popular tourist destination in Cyprus (certainly for British holiday makers). It is located on the east coast of the island within close proximity of the (in)famous resort, Ayia Napa.

The area has long lost the traditional aspects of Cypriot life in favour of tourism based attractions. If you wish to be part of a lively party scene, Protaras would be an excellent place to reside.
