Prices of property in Italy have risen in recent years due to the increased exposure from televisions, magazines and the availability of cheap flights from low cost airlines. Although this has made Italy more accessible as a location, it has also helped to hike the price of property. In recent years the prices have risen by 10% per year, with rises of up to 30% in some areas.

Pricing has seen a slight slow down in the last year or so but areas such as the Northern Lakes and Tuscany still attract wealthy investors so pricing is constantly at a premium.

s a rough guide, you should expect to pay the following guide prices for property in Italy:

Studio apartment - 130,000
One bedroom apartment - 195,000
Two bedroom apartment - 235,000
Three bedroom villa - 295,000
